Software Overview
PT3D is an analysis and design programme for post-tensioned concrete slabs. It is robust software that can analyse and design slabs of any shape, including suspended slabs and slab-on ground. Tendons can be modelled in any direction and two-way action is automatically considered.
Users that are familiar with our SLABS 2010 software will have no trouble using PT3D as both programmes have the same user interface and modelling methodology. In addition PT3D has many distinct features that are unique to post-tensioned concrete design such as:
...and many more
Like SLABS and R/C Building, PT3D uses the finite element method to analyse the model. This type of analysis provides extremely accurate results and the most efficient design.
Along with our new CAD import functions and powerful modelling method, PT3D users can expect not only more accurate results but also greatly reduced design time.

PT3D is a programme for the analysis and design of post-tensioned concrete slabs. Slabs of any shape and orientation can be modelled including suspended slabs and slab-on-ground. Tendons are easily defined and edited and can be modelled in any direction. Two-way tendon action is automatically considered. Using advanced finite element analysis PT3D gives extremely accurate results required for efficient design.

“...PT3D software proved to be extremely economical (design of the upper level slabs), with tendon rates of around 4.2kg/m2 and additional reinforcement 3.5 kg /m2...”
